Superb experience at Rob's Fish & Chips in Pensarn. There was a queue when we arrived (which we took as a good sign). The line moved quickly and the service was excellent from the staff. Food was fantastic, eaten looking out over the beach. Scallops and sausages were great and the chips - they may be the best we've ever had! And all this at a great price: plenty of food for 3 people for £18. If you're in the area, or happy to get off the train for an hour as we did, you can't go wrong.

Called in here at a very busy time, very long wait in the queue. Ordered fish, pies, scallops via the fry man (presume it's rob). Fish was amazing, chips lovely and fresh, potato scallops were nice too. I wouldn't have a pie next time, crust was solid. And I wish I had the spicy curry instead of the gloopy gravy. So next visit will be fish, chips and spicy curry.

Love fish and chips.... First time i have eaten from this chippy since the last visit in 1994! Tried tonight after the story in North Wales Live. I had, large fish, large chips and mushy peas.... wow! true british fish and chips.... tasted like my childhood. Food: was delicious, tasty and nice portion size. The plate on the picture is 12 inch x 12 inch.... my son had a chicken burger and some of my chips so as you can tell the chip portion was massive. Service: Female fryer who was pleasant, female server who was welcoming and chatty. Made you feel like a valued customer, smiling and thanked us and said goodbye enjoy! Venue: shop was clean and welcoming, everything was easily visable on the board behind the till, clearly showing options and prices. All in all i really enjoyed the food and polite, friendly staff goes a long way! will definitely be back!

Had the pleasure of the gent and his wife? Hes been doing this 50 years, and hes a real pleasure to chat with-the chips are in my top ten ever, perfectly cooked, i had a sausage too, unbattered, but real meat so all in all, you dont need to go anywhere else-looks like its only cod and maybe plaice, o cn't omment on the fish. 10/10 Oh and the fruity curry sauce is a must have, see ya soon
